This weekend, Triangle shoppers can spend their dollars to benefit the community at several fashionable charity events:

Adore and Clothes Hound boutiques are joining forces this week to put on a fashion show for a cause. Featuring fall clothing from both boutiques, the charity fashion show Saturday at Oliver Twist in Raleigh will benefit Adoption Option, a local animal rescue. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation item for the rescue (needs include pet food, hooded litter boxes, leashes, collars, gently used blankets, etc.), and proceeds will benefit the nonprofit group.

Raleigh’s Hottest New Boutique ‘Clothes Hound’ Teams Up with Local Fashion Favorite ‘ADORE’ To Raise Funds for Adoption Option Animal Rescue     

RALEIGH, August 22 - Trendy new boutique, Clothes Hound (www.shopclotheshound.com) teams up with local Triangle favorite, ADORE (www.adoreboutiques.com) to present this season’s not-to-be-missed fashion event -- a New York-Style Charity Fashion Show featuring hard-to-find, celebrity-driven brands like Lauren Conrad’s Paper Crown, GLAM and Judith March to benefit Adoption Option Animal Rescue.

The fundraiser will be held at Oliver Twist (www.theolivertwistlounge.com) at Brennan Station, on Saturday, August 27 2011, beginning at 8 PM for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a Mother/Daughter fashion models strutting their stuff down the runway at Oliver’s Twists chic, hotspot lounge. Fashion show tickets are sure to sell out quickly as it benefits one of Raleigh’s most deserving and hardworking nonprofit organizations, Adoption Option, a small group of rescuers dedicated to pulling animals off of death row, vetting them and seeing them through until a loving forever home can be found. While they’ve been involved in rescue for ten years, they are just now in the process of starting their own 501c3, and hope to that have in place by fall.  Adoption option is based in Chapel Hill.
